Open Studios Kaipātiki takes place on Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 November, from 10am–4pm. It’s free to explore, with no bookings required.

Barry Ross Smith is an oil painter creating surreal imagery of islands with colonial villas and oversized birds. The works display the involvement between animals and humans; exploring the tension between the desire to exploit the natural environment and our obligation to conserve and preservation our native forests and wildlife.
