Visiting the Studios
Open Studios Kaipātiki is designed to be enjoyed on your own terms. Take your time, wander from studio to studio, chat with artists, and let your curiosity guide you. Whether you spend ten minutes or an hour in each space, it’s all about the experience.
Use our artist map to plan your own trail, drive, ride, or walk between studios and discover creativity tucked throughout Kaipātiki.
If you’re planning to purchase artworks, we recommend bringing cash, although many artists will also accept bank transfers.
The Artist Map
The Open Studios map shows the positions of all studios and venues open for visits across the weekend between 10am-4pm.
You can use this map as a guide.
Visit the Artists listings on our website and view their corresponding "map number". Click through on the listing to find out more, including physical addresses and details on opening days and accessibility. It's best to check before you arrive as some are only open on one day of the event weekend, or have instructions for parking etc.
