Late Artist Addition - Not included in printed brochure
My name is Sharron Woodward, also known as Eco Womble. I’m a mixed media artist and crafter with experience across a range of mediums.
My passion lies in upcycling and recycling, and I’ve sold many of my creations both locally and internationally. My work has been exhibited in galleries throughout Auckland, and I even created a miniature house during lockdown that was purchased by Auckland Museum for its COVID exhibition.
I’ve also worked as a props manager for two stage plays and have a real love for transforming everyday objects into art. Teaching crafting skills to both adults and children has been another rewarding part of my creative journey.
Art and creativity have played an important role in supporting my mental health, and I’ve also facilitated workshops exploring the connection between creativity and wellbeing.
What visitors can expect
For the first time, I’ll have all my creations on display together in one place. I’m happy to demonstrate my creative processes and share how I make my work.
Most of the pieces on display will be available to purchase or order, with cash preferred where possible.
I’ll also have an area set aside for creative play, where both adults and children are welcome to have a go.
