Odysseus asks us to consider the journey a person could be on; is that homeless man simply a dropout, or someone finding his way back?

The style and techniques of my paintings reflect the different subjects and genres I’m drawn to at any given time. My figurative work ranges from landscapes and portraits to social commentary, while my icon series is more abstract in nature.

I work from two studios: one in Northcote Point and another in the city. I also take every opportunity to paint outdoors, at the beach, in a field or wherever inspiration strikes. The speed and freedom of working on location provide a welcome contrast to studio pieces, which can take weeks to complete.
