Kaipātiki Local Board area | North Shore | Tamāki Makaurau

15 & 16 November 2025

Open Studios Kaipātiki is a new community arts event celebrating the many artists and makers who live and work across the Kaipātiki Local Board area on Auckland’s North Shore.

For one weekend, artists will open their studio doors to the public – offering a rare glimpse into their creative spaces, their process, and the work they’ve been making. You’ll be able to plan your own self-guided trail, meet artists, ask questions, and maybe even take home a new piece of art.

This new event builds on the success of Open Studios Waitākere and Open Art Studios Upper Harbour and is produced by Lightbox Projects.

A weekend of creativity in Kaipātiki

A huge thank you to everyone who visited Open Studios Kaipātiki this year.

Your support, curiosity, and enthusiasm helped make our very first event a wonderful celebration of local artists and creativity across the Kaipātiki community.

Thank you for joining us in 2025
